Befor the patch i run lancet with active surge modules. Me and a friend usually fly a Mole and most of the time just a single laser (helix 2) can break the rock, but every once in a while I'll jump down to help. Having 4 friends I would recommend a pilot, 2 dedicated miners, and maybe a scout to check for good spots while you mine.
